Local Flowers for the Ocala Market
The Lyons family sells bouquets of freshly harvested, seasonal flowers, herbs, foliage, and grasses, all grown at Millwood Flower Farm in Marion County, Florida.
Each Saturday from the beginning of September to the end of May you can buy our flowers at the Ocala Downtown Market. Hours are 9:00 am to 2:00 pm. The Ocala Downtown Market is at the corner of S.E. 3rd Street and S.E. 3rd Avenue in Ocala, Florida.
During our long Florida growing season, you can have a fresh bouquet picked just for you on a weekly, bi-weekly or monthly basis. Sign-up information and pick-up locations for next season’s bouquet subscriptions will be published around Labor Day.
Available October through May.
By the Bucket
If you like arranging flowers or are having an event that you need lots of flowers for, consider buying flowers by the bucket. The stem count will depend on the what is in bloom, but will typically be 50 to 75 stems of seasonal flowers. Choose a variety of flowers or a bucket filled with one type of flower (like the Orlaya pictured here).
Cost will vary depending on the selection of flowers, but average $65 to $75.
